Creating a Love of Books
Once again Su Casa De Esperanza is taking on the early childhood literacy project for 2012-2013. The goal is to create a love of books among the toddlers and their families by filling the library with new books. Through the program, the children will be exposed to appropriate-level books, learn how to turn pages, how to take care of books, and also increase their attention span. Their moms will be taught how to guide their children through the process of developing this early love of reading. Children in the program are 1 - 3 years of age. Both Las Milpas and Progreso centers have small library centers.

FLOWERS FOR MOM
Your financial support is needed in implementing this educational program to support mothers in their parenting roles. The event takes place prior to Mother's Day and culminates with a tea party.

$15 - Sponsors one child to attend our after school program for one week.
$15 - Pays for one toddler to come to classes for one week.
$150 - Provides Pre-natal education for a mother-to-be throughout her pregnancy.
$500 - Sponsors a baby and mother who receive infant stimulation classes at home for nine months.
$600 - Sponsors a toddler to attend classes for one year.
$1,800 - Sponsors a toddler for the complete 3 year program.
