Volunteers

Are you interested in sharing your time and talents?
Volunteer opportunities are available for you in our programs:

  • Early Childhood Development Program--Toddlers (Storytelling, outside activities, puppet shows, serving snacks) Ages 9 mo. - 3 yrs.
  • After School Program (ages 6-12)--Homework assistance, play instruments, singing, outside activities, games, story telling
  • Adult Education Classes--help tutor adults in the English As A Second Language classes or computer literacy classes
    Hours:  Computer Lit:  Tuesday & Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; English:  Mon. & Wed., 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Mon. & Wed., 4:00 - 5:15 p.m. (After School Program in partnership with Good Samaritan Community Services)


  • Volunteers play a vital role in the success of the programs at Su Casa De Esperanza: 

    Volunteers share their expertise with children and their parents when they make presentations on issues related to health, safety, community resources, childhood education, and other topics of interest. 
  •  
  • Volunteers use their sewing skills to sew clothing or blankets for the children in the program. 
  • Volunteers read to children in the programs
  • Volunteers teach children new skills
  • Volunteers join children in healthy and active outdoor activities
  • Volunteers host baby showers in their civic groups
