Su Casa De Esperanza is a non-profit family life program created to provide education to impoverished families living in a South Texas colonia for the purpose of enhancing their opportunities for fulfilled, abundant lives.  This mission is addressed through a Family Life Education Center located in colonia communities with the expressed goals of affecting the spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional, financial, and social needs of families.  Teaching discipline, nutrition, health care, parenting skills, economic independence and intra-family communication skills improves the likellihood of accomplishing these goals.  Su Casa is a vehicle that serves as an intermediate support system for these indigent families with the expressed purpose that the families eventually will become self-sufficient, productive members of the community.  ("Assessing the Effectiveness of Su Casa De Esperanza," Community Outreach Project Technical Research Report, UT Pan American, Aug. 2000, Vern Vincent)

Su Casa De Esperanza is a 501 ( c) 3 organization.  Funding for Su Casa comes from individuals, churches, corporations, and foundations.
