About Us

Su Casa De Esperanza is a house of hope for families living in Texas’ lower Rio Grande Valley. We are wedged between dynamic communities and flourishing farmland, but there are pockets of extreme poverty. Our focus is on two of these impoverished areas: Las Milpas in Pharr, Texas, and Progreso, Texas, on the Texas/Mexico border.

The place where children are born can affect their chances for a strong start in life. Babies need good health, strong families, and positive early learning experiences to foster their healthy brain development and help them realize their full potential.

Our centers in south Pharr and Progreso serve 633 participants. Staff equip and support families even before a new baby enters the world, and then, provide early childhood education services to the entire family.

Through the generosity of individuals, families, businesses, churches and foundations, we are able to offer services at no cost to our families.
