Infant Stimulation

Birth - 12 Months

When the baby arrives, our home visitor services move from prenatal education visits to infant stimulation. Weekly visitors check in on the mother and baby in their home and monitor the baby’s development - allowing for early interventions, if needed.

Monitoring Development

We closely monitor the baby's sight, hearing, language, motor, and cognitive skills development.

Infant Stimulation

We interact directly with the baby: singing, talking, and reading in order to stimulate development.

Parent Education

Home visitors also engage with and educate parents in the basics of infant care and child development. We emphasize the parents' role as the baby’s primary caregiver and teacher throughout in order to strengthen the bond between baby and parents.
